How do I get a picture onto one of these threads to represent myself as I cannot see where to upload it in my profile?

Naturally I shall get a picture representing me once I've got my problems of picture posting and sending done and over especially where ftp is concerned.

the picture that represents you is called your avatar (in examnotes).

To change your avatar:

1-Go to Edit Options (Not Edit Profile) in your profiles window.

2- At the bottom of the screen is a box which says avatar on it. on the right hand side is a button you can use to change your avatar. select that and choose your any pic you want in your pc or the internet as your avatar.

hope you get things right.

Hey Webmaster, you get this question asked so often you should put the answer in your FAQ section.

Oh! you have, sorry!

Thanks buddy.
Mercyfully I found one that was about 38kb in size. My other pictures are over 200kb in size which leads me to my next question.

How do I reduce a 300kb picture saved in my documents to about 20kb?

That was my first (hurried) attempt. Look again. Other pic changes may follow after this.

Ha ha ha haaaa (oh oh!).
For somebody who lives in London, I think that would be telling.

I shall give you a few clues. I work for Accuread. I work in this area as a mobile and it is in the north somewhere ie north, north-west and north-east. I am also in the gas industry.

It's unlikely I shall want to reveal more as I'd rather remain anonymous.
