Hi,

I am having a major problem with outgoing attachments (not incoming they are fine). Our setup is Win 2000 Server with Exchange Server 5.5. We can send attachments to external recipients, but when they are opened by them, the document is full of strange symbols. Also, when the recipient saves the attachment to the hard drive, the computer does not seem to even know what application to use to open it (they are standard MS Office docs). This is happening sending to anyone. Has anyone experienced this problem and been able to fix it?

How is your IMS connector setup in regards to Outbound message attachments? Are you using MIME or UUENCODE? Do you have a content filter connector as well or do you have all messages routed to another server first before going out and about?
