See above...just curious what the difference between the exams is.

I would hope you looked up the information at Comptia before posting this.

IMHO - I have taken both test - The older Network+ test seemed to have many of the topics that the i-NET+ has.

iNET focuses more on internet topics - ports for e-mail/web/ftp etc...

NET+ focuses more on intranets and general LAN, MAN concepts.

There is some overlap - but the test strengths cover more specific areas. I'd even say that from the first NET+ to now -that the Security+ and iNET+ were born from NET+. If these two test topics were left with the NET+ the NET+ would need to be about three tests long (like A+ is two tests).
