Could you please kindly explain to me what these 2 things are ? I am just a novice in computers. I found this web site when trying to find a solution to the problem with Finale Viewer.

I downloaded the NET Framework 1.1 as a Windows Update since, if I am not wrong, Messenger requiered it to see my e-mail throught that program. Then, somehow, it seems the ASP.NET was downloaded with the NET Framework. It even appears like another user in our PC !
