Author static or dynamic NT printer?

I remember a couple of years ago when I added a printer to our LAN on a NT server.

It was networked. But now I'm trying to remember if it was connected via static or dynamic ip address.

How would you know if it was either.

Forgive me for my ignorance but it's been a while.

Dynamic I know would be DHCP assigned. But I forgot how...if it was static.

Any help appreciated.

An employeer I'm applying for wants to know all the details about my past IT history.

Thank God I saved my works PST. files. Whew.

Take a look in the setup menu for the printer - all will be revealed.

Static.

If it's an HP you can either do as RussS states, use jet admin, or telnet into it via it's IP address. Configuring static IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, etc... can be done through those methods as well.
