| Has anyone studied for and passed the MCSE on two PC's?
Is it possible? I suppose you would have to "book it" to make up for lab equip.
Thanks All,

| I find VMware to be a very useful tool when studying. Last night I setup 3 virtual computers as routers, 2 windows 2k servers and one Linux all using dynamic routing. I was only able to get RIP v1 going because all I had last night was ROUTED on my Linux install and from what I gathered I was only able to run RIP v1 with that. Had to change my addressing scheme cause of it though which kinda sucked but it was still cool when I was able to ping a interface on the far network.
Anyways, VMware is perfect for studying. It sure beats having 5 computers getting in your way. So long you have a decent amount of RAM it works great. | |

| Not to mention with VMware you can play around with the different drive management tools because you can add alot of drives and make raid arrays or spanned volumes etc... Plus add additional NICs to setup a router. It is well worth checking out. |
