I am trying to find out which Games Platform to go with for my Children.

What do you and your Children use?

I guess it depends on how old your kids are. I have my niece and nephew living with me. one is 3 the other 6 so I got them a game cube for christmas which seems to have more games on their skill level. I've had a PS2 and I have an x-box now and I like the x-box better. The downside to it is the ps2 has more games.

X-Box doesn't seem to have as many childrens games as the PS2 or Game Cube has though. X-Box seems to be aimed more towards adults and older teens.

I find a nice Steady 4 legged coffee table, that way the pieces don't fall off so easy.

The Playstation is the only way to go if you're only buying one console. The Gamecube is pretty cheap right now due to the latest price cut, but it is sub-par compared to Sony & Microsoft. I should know considering I have all three!

Although there is no substitute for a first person shooter on the PC.
