| A good cup of tea in the morning, coffee during the day, tea at night. On the stronger side I like some of the german stuff, holsten pils, Lowenbrau, as a scotsman the occasional whisky, also good for a sore throat or cold, forget all that anti-biotic stuff. | |

| I live off of caffeine! Coffee every morning! Coke/Cherry Coke throughout the day/night.
For 70 proof alcohols, there's nothing like Jagermeister!
For beers, I pretty much like anything dark, Guinness, Moose Drool, etc. Killian's is a favorite too.
Also, sometimes I just crave a glass of Ruby Red Grapefruit juice!
|
| I'll go for a flat white ... anytime day or nite.
beer - either Stella or VB
spirits - Jack & coke
wine - I've a sweet tooth and enjoy dessert wines or port
juice - apple
non alco - blackcurrant & honey ... watered down and server either hot or chilled

How is that Guinness anyway? I saw some at the local grocery store last night and have seen it mentioned on here quite a bit, but haven't tried it yet. In my area they want $8.00 for 6 bottles, so I was hesitant to buy it and find out it tasted nasty.

Second post to mention blackcurrant. Haven't tried that. Have to see if I can find some in my area.

I'm with my Kiwi mate on the VB.
Used to drink Victoria Bitter when I lived in Victoria.
Never thought I'd drink Aussie beer.
What's that line from Monty Python?
Aussie beer is like making love in a canoe.
It's f*cking close to water.

Banks's Original or Marston's Pedigree as a pint.
Mainly Talisker single malt as a short, but also partial to Plymouth Gin.

| Tried some Guinness Draught over the weekend. Was a bit suprised when I popped the cap on it and some foam started to appear almost immediately. As I continued to drink it, I was a bit more suprised to start hearing this "clink" sound coming from the bottle too. I thought to myself, "do I want to know what is making this sound?" I found out later it was the "torpedo widget" Guinness puts in the bottle and is responsible for keeping the stout foamy. A bit more testing is in order to see if I really like it or not, but my first encounter is not too bad. | |

Irn Bru (Barr's is best)
