What are you looking at?

| The most faszinating Thing to me is, when working on a friends or Customers Computer, what does his Background look like?Honestly, when you look at a friends or clients Monitor, is it not the first thing you look at? Are you not interested, what kind of Background he's got and how many shortcuts are cluttered all over the Desktop?
Does it to me all the Time. How about you Guys? What does your Desktop look like?
Is it covered with useless Shortcuts, that you haven't used in month, do you have Landscapes on it, more technical Stuff or is it ....?

Yep, nothing worse than a cluttered desktop and a full recycle bin. Take out your freaking trash for crying out loud.

|
| I believe there is some size restriction... dunno... I just shrink it down to the approx size of everyone else's image. I am sure there is a posting/listing of file size/image size restriction somewhere. | |

I shift-prtsc to get it into the clipboard and then paste it into anything that can do a 300x200 or less gif or jpeg. PCPaint works just fine. The built in paint comes up with the right size using stretch and skew but always botches the colors on the gif and makes bmp too large to upload.

I completely agree!! It is very cool to see some of the desktops that clients bring in at my other job. Here at work our desktops are pretty standardized. Most people have either PLUS! backgrounds, or pictures of their family & kids.

do this: you'll see buttons: http://, @, IMG on top of this text box. press it (IMG button) and then type your http://www.yoururladdress/yourgraphic.jpg in there
naturally, u need to upload your graphic into a webserver somewhere (ie. geocities, or maybe your companies' server
cheers, | |

Tech Ranger - use the attach file box at the bottom of the reply box, and make sure the graphic is no bigger than 300 x 400. I used microsoft photo editor to reduce the graphic to the correct size.

If you use Geocities you will want to rename your file to one with a .txt extension. For some reason Geocities blocks remote linking to files with a .jpg but not .txt.

Ok, this new Background spans over 2 19" Monitors, and the Resolution is 2560X1024.
I hope, it is not coming out too large, i had to resize it some to post it.

Mine is just a cluttered black desktop. No eye candy since i do a lot of remote accessing. However, when I was doing tech support for a broadband isp, we had online support where we could take over the customers pc. Once i was helping this old man and when i opened the session of his pc, it was a naked women on a harley.
