Making a simple Operating System...

| Been working on it for the past couple weeks. Going to do something that was never done before, integrate a porn. viewer in the kernel or rather porn manager. Nahh, but very instresting stuff. Good way to learn more indepth knowledge of what is going on. Plus maybe it isn't such a bad idea to freshen up on my ASM and C skills. I haven't used them much in the past uhhhhhhh life. | |

| Screw you all stop rubbing it in my face. I will get in someday. heh actually I just need to fax some stuff I got from a doctor back to my recruiter. In fact he emailed me today but I am scared to look at it I think he is gonna yell at me. | |

I wrote a simple OS in college. Was meant to fit on a floppy disc and it did so. What kind of things are you looking for your OS to do? Or are you just trying to get a little OS up and running just for your own interest? | |

I am just messing around with it. Trying to learn various ways of doing things. All started because I began reading this book about OS Theory which got me all excited and hot. Maybe once I play around with stuff and learn how verious things are done then I can make a more specific project that actually does something useful. | |

You couls start by trying to code a simple terminal emulator or shell to interpret commands. The interesting stuff is the low level stuff where you actually get your code to interface with the hardware. |
