George Bush visits the UK this week. Because of the increased terrorist threat he brings with him 400 of his own security guys in addition to the 15,000 UK police and special forces assigned to the 4 day event, to ensure it is trouble free.

In today's technologically advanced world, do you think these visits are necessary when the security costs are so large?

It's all PR. They are never necessary, but the presidents and prime ministers need to look busy to please folks.

We're talking ahbout Dubya here, remember. He probably tries to send email by taping letters to his monitor. ICQ would be way above him.

He reminds me of Ralph from the Simpsons, quite worrying considering the power he has.

Can my 200 armed guards come too?

Oh and If I'm stopping at your pad, I'd like my room to be bomb proof, an attack helicopter hovering overhead, I'd like all mobile phones in Boston to be disabled, I'd like the tube shut down(If you have one) and last by no means least Id like immunity for my armed guards if they have to kill someone while protecting me(even if it is just an old soldier with an anti bearing banner).

I think that should suffice.

Good luck. I would never visit Times Square for New Years. Too cold and too many people.

I was in Time Square but not for New Years Eve. I'm crazy not insane. Saw it on tv back in Brooklyn those people looked like herded cattle.

Last year was on the warmer side down there. What was it like 40 maybe.

It still floats.

There's a couple of islands around here. However while on the topic of islands, I think Long Island might be the size of enforcer's ego.
