I have tried many more times to that option & no luck.
I have updated my winxp too.but still no solution, once i removed & installed new Internet explorer even no way to get rid of it.

How can you expect anyone to help with the little information you provided?
This is all we know: IE suddenly closes and you tried to fix it by updating the sp.
What I'm looking for: Specific error codes. Check event logs to clue us in. | |

And what does that tell us? "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." that could be damn near anything. Errors don't get anymore generic than that. That doesn't tell us any specifics on the error. All it says is that an error occurred.
Check your event log to see if anything shows up there. |
