Hi,

I have been intrested in studying in computer engineering for a while, although time has always been against me.

I have taken numerous I.T night school courses, yet to no avail, to be truthfull, they have been so mediocre I found myself spitting bits of chewed up paper at anyone and everyone around me, (which got me into a few fights, and a ribbling from a tutor).

I mean, it was like, this is a mouse, this is a VDU and so on and so forth....

My grades in school where not so eloquent either.

I want to study in my own time and pace, my friend put me on to an MCSE.

However, he is only on the foundation levels at the moment.

I want to know where to start and what i need...

I have been told to first and foremost get myself some books on certain subjects, eg. sybex and other affiliated books....

I saw a few CDROMs on ebay, and looked at them, but im untrustworthy and beleive you get nothing for free.

Please I need guidance, I thought of scouring newgroups alike, but i thought it would be more "Vizzavi" ???? of me to mingle in the sweat pool with you fine people who are, so to speak... In the know...

Please help a budding Study-ee...

Regards

Shaun
