I am a cs graduate and I plan to get MCSD, MCSE, CCNA, A+ , and Linux+ certification. Can someone tell me any reliable certification website? I mean beside cert21, any website offer reliable tests? I am willing to pay some money.

Start with A+. Get the A+ All in One Study Guide by Mike Meyers (4th Ed.).

You don't want to use those man. Most people including ChrisDfer consider that to be cheating. However, you are mostly cheating yourself when you use those because it allows you to pass the test without truly knowing the material. Study the correct way using books and a few practice tests(not braindumps which are real questions and answers) Although don't over do it on "legitimate" practice tests either. I personally think that is no better then brain dumps if over used. Just focus on actually learning the material by reading and getting hands on labs.

As stated above go for A+ then Network+. Then from there move on to the path you want. Since you have a degree in CS or soon will have one. I assume you want to do programming? Then perhaps after you earn those two basic certfications you should go and get the MCSD. But then again that all depends on what you want to do. Maybe if you post your career goals someone more knowledgeable then I could give you better advice. I wouldn't listen to anything I say because I am slightly retarded.

i think before getting started
you need to decide which direction you want to head in IT
not matter if you decide to go for programming or networking
A+ is good to have
with mcsd you will work with sotfware developing
and mcse is for maintaining windows networks
you dont wanna look like a jack of all trades
so while you work to get the A+, you need to do some research to find out what you like most

I haven't heard anyone talking about it here. Is it useless? I am thinking to be an Oracle database administrator in the future. What does anyone think.

Question for ChrisDfer:

I won't cheap in the test but i may use the practice question on those certification site after I am done studying. Did u try the braimdump site?

Opps, I forgot this forum links automaticly to the brain-dump site if you type braindumpers. I didn't do that and not I have never used them because I fell it doesn't seem right. It is alot like how I never cheated at a online game because it makes me feel dirty. Anyway, I didn't link that site it does itself. Also I think most people feel the same on this site.

stay away from braindumps, they will not help you in real life.

You need to build a good reputation, if you use braindumps to pass the exams, and then get a job and can't do it, because you don't have the handson knowledge your reputation will be tarnished.

these days most interviewees are no given a test at the interview. paper certs almost always get found out that way. be a shame to waste all that time and money.

What does people think about Oracle certification? why no one talk about it?It is useless?

It is worth while if that is what you want to do and know your stuff.

Probably because there are few Oracle admins on the site.

Oracle certification is only useless if you don't work with Oracle or don't know how to deal with Oracle.

It looks like there are some on this thread that I won't have to worry about competing with in a couple years...
