I have two router (just find a less expensive old linksys).

I already setup a wireless network at the house. My basement don't have good reception on the "b" type. So I want to add this Linksys at the basement and try to get hook up the rounter at the 1 FL. Wiring is too troublesome

Can I used my 2nd router(also wireless)as Access Point function to target the IP address on my primary router (connected to the Broadband)?

Is it possible? Anyone know how? I got Netgear on primary, and Linksys on secondary.

Of course it work on theory and everything, but it is practical. Just want to confirm from you guy....

Thanks

Do you know how to keep your wireless network secure?

It's possible, your second access point acts as a repeater. Go to the manufacturer's website on how to set it up. Each one is a little different.

The last company I worked for had acess points from three different manufacturers and wireless NICs from a fourth. Everything worked seemlessly together.
