| Yep! Marlins win the World Series... I can't believe it! | |

| Amazing how the New York teams seem to throw large amounts of money around every year and manage to come up short on the winning end. :\
Cheers,

| From the NY Times:
quote: The Marlins were more resilient than the fading Yankees, who have made next season incredibly tense because they have not won a title for three straight seasons.
Give me a BREAK!!!! | |

| Listen, I spent the night at a local bar and it was very sad.
I'd rather "us" lose to the Marlins than the RedSoxs. At least I can say we got further than them.
The Yankees played like crap the whole game.

The Yankees lost. The series went 6 games. The Marlins pitching in last night's game was magnificent and the Yankees were playing sub-par. Your comment has no basis in truth. How does a third rate team accomplish what the Yankees accomplished. If the Marlins had lost, I would not have called them a third rate team. Boston is not a third rate team. It is one thing to have an opinion, but your comment is ridiculous.

as much as I hate the Yankees.....they are a good team. I wish the Redsox would have stepped up and at least made it to the world series...even maybe have won but they just couldn't do it. Definately glad the Marlins won instead of the yanks. I think the Cubs vs Sox would have been a much better series to watch though.

The Cubs vs. Sox would have brought in a lot of money, however those two teams are crused.

| Then neither team would have won and it would have still been in extra innings.
BTW: Where are the riots? I flew out to NY hoping to see some riots but I don't see any. What's the deal?
