Weird thing. I have windows 2000 sp4 server that the time is getting ahead of itself. I have it synching with another server to get the correct time but this box is getting 2 minutes ahead every 10 minutes.

I checked the bios time and it seems to be fine but windows time isnt staying with the bios time.

any suggestions?

when you say "synching", do you mean network-time?

Bios time is independant from windows time. The bios time is controlled by a 32,768 hz quartz crystal on the motherboard. Suggest Check the time updates of what you are trying to synch with first.
