| I´ve never seen anything like this before.
Internet Explorer hangs whenever I try to do a search, whether on Yahoo or any other search engine.
The second I click the button "search" or "Go", the boweser hangs, and the only way out of it is ending it through "Task Manager".
Has anyone come across something like this before? Any help will be very well appreciated.

| I had this problem. I went into Add/Remove Programs to try and unistall IE. While in there I noted there was something in there called "my Search Bar". I uninstalled this program and everything is working fine.It seems that sometimes when you browse , this search bars will install. Since I am not home all day, I believe it was while someone who was home did not notice that it got installed. I would check add/remove programs for any unwated search programs. | |

| There was actually a search bar thing there, but after uninstalling it I still kept having the same problem. I ran a virus scan, spyware scan, and still the same thing.
I guess my next move will be reinstalling Windows, or at least try to repair the installation.
Thanks a lot for the help anyway.
