| Can someone give me some info on 902.11b I have seen it referenced in regards to 802.11b and the new name for the current Wi-Fi technology. However, when I go to the IEEE they show nothing about it.
HELP!!!!

| I never heard of 902.11b before but I did a search on google and it seems like it might actually be something, either that or alot of people made typos. Guess one could always see what IEEE did on feb. of 1990 but I been reading into wireless stuff for the past month and have yet to come across anything mentioning 902.11b.
Plus I also searched on Ciscos site and they didn't have anything and one would think that they would have at least something on it, plus you said that IEEE website said nothing about it. SO ehhnnnn, perhaps typos might be the answer. | |

| I looked for it also, but all I could find was that some Netgear products have this. But I'll be damned if I could find anything more than that. Sorry dude. | |

| Thanks all for the replies, I just went and did another Google search for ieee 902.11 and it came up with pages on it, but no definitions so I have no idea what the difference might be.
