Yes, I'm hijacking enforcer's GK question again. He has not posted one since Saturday and this GK stuff is fun.

The following question my contain a "taboo" topic to any non-American citizens and may start a flame. However keep in mind it's a question. A simple "A", "B", "C" or "D" will do. No need for a report on why you disagree.

Q.) Which two US states still execute prisoners by firing squad?

A.) Oregon & North Dakota

B.) Montana & Wyoming

C.) Texas & New Mexico

D.) Idaho & Utah

Your Gk question of the day thread doesn't seem to be as popular as the original..

Maybe the question was just too taboo.

Dee. I think in Utah, you can opt to get hung instead of shot.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your outlook) I think these laws are just on the books because no one has taken them out. I didn't look it up, but I would be surprised if either of these states has killed anyone recently (like last 50 years).

Now, what would really be something is if a state that has a "Monday Murder Day with double death days on Saturday" (like Texas or Florida) actually used hanging or firing squad.

I am sure that Fox would be thrilled to broadcast it!

Or atleast have a fox presenting it. Somebody like Winona Ryder or somebody else with alledged dodgyness.

Apparently you can still kill a Welshman after dark in Chester(England), and get away with it..

Old law that has never been axed..

The correct answer is D.) Idaho & Utah. However in Utah you can elect to be hanged instead.

If you had the kind of criminals we get in Texas, you might be in favor of the DP. (please don't flame before doing a little homework)

are you insinuating that most of the people that flame are still at school, and that they should do their school homework before coming onto examnotes?

Do not try and flame. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.

What truth?

There is no flame.

In other words, this is not a serious thread and no comments herein should be construed as such.
