I have three computers networked through an ethernet connection. Two have WinXP and one has Red Hat 3.7. I am pretty new to Linux, and I am trying to find a way to share files between xp and linux. I have internet sharing up and running, so I know there is a working connection. Any suggestions?

Samba is used to share files between windows and *nix. That's an awfuly old Red Hat version; ever considered upgrading?

Here's a guide to samba: http://www.linuxhelp.ca/guides/samba/
