Well my top 3 presents were

1) 5 disc collections edition of Lord of the Rings

2) Leather chair for my computer room

3) Age of Mythology for my PC.

Add tons of chocolate, a cool lighter, the first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I considered it a very good Christmas!!!

Three busts of Bill Gates. One sitting on a meeting chair, one playing golf, and the third... that's really personal.

Well you know what i'll be doing with them. You know how people will think when they see me pictured with gates at a meeting table, or playing golf or whatever.

and man do these busts look real

cheers,

Hi Guys,

I got a formal redundancy letter from my boss and a job interview off a prospective employer (Jan 2nd).

From the family I got the usual collection of shirts, slippers, aftershave and chocolate.

But what did we give?

The most unusual present that I gave was a painted metal plaque with a couple of metal roses and numbers, for the front wall of my mothers house (as her house didn't have a number showing and she asked for something similar).

As most of our children have moved into their own homes recently we gave them all housegold type items that they'll find usefull over the coming years.

Regards
Peter

1) 128Mb video card (then again as if my parents would even know what that is)

2) Some honest of goodness peace between some of the feuding countries. I get upset everytime i read the newspaper.

Got to spend some well deserved quality time with the two loves of my life. Amanda and Bianca, my two daughters. Oh Mom was their too. It just seemed like such a long time since I have been able to relax and laugh with my kids. Even if it was for only a couple of hours.

i was hoping for scabies, but ill take em.

i worked at an eye center where a woman couldn't have lasik, at least that day, because of persistant itchy and dry eyes, turns out the C-men were gripping onto the lashes.

i also saw someone with a pencil impailed in their eyeball

she was covering her eye with her hand, with the pencil between her fingers. when she removed her hand, she started looking around the room, and the pencil moved around with it.

LOL.. Just jokingly in a previous job a user called and told me her PC is broke, so I replied
"Well it wouldn't be broke if you stopped kicking it and spilling your coffee on it!"

Sadly enough, she replied "but that was over a week ago!" and i was just kidding about the comment.

2002-12-31, 12:52 pm

dectective work...

why is it that users lie right to your face?

"what is this orange man doing by my clock?"

did you install instant messanger?

No

Do they realize how ridiculous they sound?

that's like:

"i can't see anything"

"you have your head up your arse"

"no i don't...i could see if it wasn't so dark"

on the other hand, if these guys got their act together, we'd be out of a job.
