I am really reaching here, but....

| Does anybody know of any good resources for getting certified on IBM's DB2? There isn't a board for it here, and it's not the most popular cert. (despite it's popularity) so I thought I'd try here for help. Any suggestions would be appreciated. | |

| quick someone get a bucket for this member, i think they're about to be sick.
oh sorry what was that, "reaching not reching" oops sorry i think i'll leave quietly now.
back to the point, have you tried a search on google, or how about ibm's website? | |
|
| Yeah, I've found some stuff, but I was hoping to get some first hand recommendations from people that have taken, or studied for, the test. | |

| Thanks for the link Iggy. Have you studied this stuff or know someone that has by any chance? | |

| Do you have a copy of DB2 that you can play about with? That wiould help a lot. I once got a sample copy of IBM DB2 from Red Hat for development purposes (not for use on a production server) and it was cool. Make sure you are A-1 with regards to your SQL use, as that is the major portion of the test. | |
|
| Yeah, I can get my hands on DB2. However, my experience with M$ tests has been that you may know your stuff, but they ask questions in such warped ways you may still get it wrong. Plus you have to know how to do it THEIR way. I do not know how IBM tests work, but some realistic practice exams would be appreciated. Unfortunately, transcender and cert21 have nothing on this. |
