I currently have my A+ I'm working on Network+ then I will apply these to my track toward MCSA.

My long term goal (5 to 10 years)is to work on Web Servers
what certs would be recommended? I do believe I will go for I-net but what else should I look into.

Thanks

Master CIW Administrator track is a good start for someone interested in that. i-Net+ will give you a foundation and prerequisite for the first CIW exam (for a fee).

Thanks,

I did know about that ciw first CIW exam for about $99 I believe but I wasn't sure if the CIW Master would cover working with web servers
since I'm not to famlilar with CIW

What about covering IIS , Apache or the other major web server programs? What about Server+ for an overall understanding of server technology?

Well I'll take it one step at a time just getting input for future reference.

M-CIW-A does cover IIS, Apache or the other major web server programs as mentioned by you. Check out the examnotes on examnotes.net and ciwcertified.com for general info on the M-CIW-A track. Server+ is great for understanding/learning about server technology. However from what I hear it's a tough exam.

Learn HTML, Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. Perl would come in really handy as well. Those are the primo tools for webmasters nowadays. I am not sure any cert would be as valuable as practical experience.
