| I know a heck of a lot about football, but to answer these you got to be a big Pats fan. I can probably answer a few of these, but why answer just a few when you must answer all to win, huh | |

| Hey Freak, I drafted Antwaoin Smith as my #2 RB in a fantasy league. You think he will put up the same type of numbers he did last year? I was glad to hear you didn't sign Jamal Anderson. Even though Smith would still get the majority of the carries, I in no way wanted Jamal to take away carries from Antwaoin. | |

I figured you had a real shot at this one, since I know that you are indeed a football fan...

| I can't help but be a patriots fan since I went with the Rams and lost money last super bowl. A know a few things about em but a little research never hurt :-) | |
|
| LOL You did well, that's for sure! You definitely deserve your study guide even if you bet against my beloved patriots | |

| One question -- who the hell are the Patriots | |
|
| They are the New England Patriots, reigning National Football League Super Bowl Champions -- which means that they are basically World Champions, just as Boulware5's Ravens were a couple of years ago... | |
|
|
|
| You're barking up the wrong tree, here pal, since I am French, not American, and our rugby team is not too shabby in the first place
As for wussies, I hardly would call football players by that name -- espcially not to their face

| Freak, scroll up a bit on this thread and tell me about Smith. | |
|
| What about Smith? I don't get it | |

| Hehe no really I was only kidding Freak and everyone, just in one of my more mischevious moods | |
|
| The first name you are looking for is Antowain
And yes, I think it is a good pick especially as a second RB. He will have a good year. I see another 1000+ yards and 10+ TDs from Smith this year. He always looks kinda slow in the off season and ramps up later on...

Cool by me! At the end of the day, mischievious mind or not, *my team* is still World Champ

| (yawn) Go Eagles!!! | |
|
| LOL
I do like Donovan McNabb a lot. I still don't understand why they let Jeremiah Trotter go, though...

| I gotta' say freak - our Patriots are looking pretty good in pre-season
I think they'll compete strong again this year, especially with the new division breakdowns.
Go Tom Brady!!!
| |
|
| we are in the toughest division, without a doubt. Indy is gone, and they used to be two wins for us. The Jets look rejuvenated, and the Fish is better with the addition of Ricky Williams. As for the Bills, they got Drew, Eric Moulds, Peerless Price, Josh Reed and Jay Riemersma. Oh, and Larry Centers. Dang! Good thing their defense should be porous another year | |

Alright, I was just going to read this post and stay out but freak you had to go and bad mouth my home team Indy. I know we have not be consistent at all in the past years but one of these days they are going to get their act together (we in Indy hope )
Also, one of the patriots went to High School with my fiance. Greenville Ohio (lets see how much freak really knows about the patriots )
Well I guess I will not be to mad about the cheap shot at my team since freak does help alot with my questions and I did get some good study guides from him.
Don't get me wrong, your team has a great offense. But the defense is porous at best. And Coach Belichick seems to know how to get in Manning's head and confuse the crap out of him... still, if Coach Dungy can get the defense to play reasonably better, you will get a legitimate contender over there...

| I have all the respect in the world for the Pats! Everyone counted them out last year, especially against the Rams. I'm glad I picked the Pats! The Rams are overrated anyway, and a good defense always beats a good offense!
My 49ers have had a lot of rebuilding since 1998, but we did reach the Playoffs last season! They're kinda banged up this preseason, but things are still looking promising. We still have a few mountains to climb though!
|
| The niners are out of cap hell and have some nice young players. And Hearst is a great story. Add that to a great young coach in the Mooch, and TO, and you got yourself a nice team! | |
| Teck Shark 2002-08-29, 8:07 am |
| Hopefully they will all come together & have a great year. I guess we'll see. I'm definitely ready for the season to start! Go Niners! | |

| The Pats do the small things that get it Done! Unlike Microsoft who do the Big things that makes it Crash!
Bring on the Steelers! | |
