I don't believe it can be done with Exchange 5.5, but then again that is my worst topic.

I know with Outlook XP you can access Hotmail. I do it all the time.

Depends on the email client version that use the clients.

Outlook Express support HTML email like hotmail but don[t support exchange accounts. Outlook 2k support Exchange, POP3, etc but don[t support http email.

Outlook XP can have Exchange and Hotmail accounts. The outlook xp suite create a local special PST of the hotmail account and syncronize the account, not mather if you have another pop3 or exchange accounts.

Outlook 2000 don`t have HTTP email like XP but you can use a tip for check hotmail accounts on Outlook 2k.

"Outlook, unlike Outlook Express, does not have an option to use Microsoft Hotmail e-mail accounts. The "Resolution" section provides a work around to access a Hotmail account. "

Cause
Outlook does not support the integration of Hotmail e-mail accounts.
