Hey, All.

Does anybody know what an alternative to Virtual PC might be? This was answered once here a long time ago but I'm not coming up with anything through SEARCH.

Any help would be appreciated. I have a few die-hard MAC users who will stop using them when I pry that stupid one-button, round mouse out of their dead and cold fingers.... but, of course, they still want access to Windows!!! (No offense to Mac users here.....)

Virtual PC is unstable, to put it mildly. At least in my environment. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You are trying to run Mac OS 9 or 10 on a Windows machine?
Or just want to run several OP-Systems on one Machine?

Huh? Who`s dave and whats he got to do with it?

VMWare allows you to run an OS (Virtual Machine) Inside the OS your currently running at the same time. Its very effective (and cool ) I run a windows OS inside a Linux OS sometimes to use my windows apps or vice versa.

I used VMware a month ago for a while. It's very flexible tool, but it runs OS's very slow. I don't know why? My PC is PIII 1GHz, 256MB RAM.

I'm unfamiliar with Virtual PC and VMWare. Does this allow you to connect to another computer (like NetOP or DameWare Utilites) or does this just similate a Windows environment on different OS?

Virtual PC provides a "shell" of sorts that will allow you to run Windows (in my case) from a MAC OS.

It works okay, I guess, but blue screens even more than your standard Windows 98. So you can understand why I think its UNSTABLE!!!!
