Beat me to the punch, but I thought it was the ant hill mob? wasnt the Lavander hill mob a film made in elstree studios?

| now that i think of it, hooligan. you are right about the ant hill mob. i guess the article in newsnight last week about ealing comedies (the lady killers is going to be released in the cinema soon, if not now) brought back memories.
i remember when 2000ad first came out. there was only this one other kid in my class that read it. it's likely they never read anything other than the dandy or whizzer and chips. straight from that to the daily mirror and parade. LOL.
