At that price it will almost certainly be an old Pentium PC. I notice they don't mention memory either which will add to the cost if you need it. So it really depends what you want to do with the PC. If you're happy using it to surf and type up your CV etc it'll most likely be fine. If you want it for serious gaming it won't.

Just find yourself an OS from somewhere. Shouldn't be too hard.

$99 dollars, with a monitor, if the monitors working and and the tube isn't worn that could be worth the money on it's own. As mistyring said probably a very basic pentium I, does it have HD, video card etc, printers are cheap it is the consumables which cost.

There are a few things that I was considering.
1)Adding to my home network at this time I have 6 PC link together.
2)I also make cheep PC for people who want to have a PC but don’t want to spend a lot.
3) spare parts even if everything is junk the monitor alone is worth that to me.

Funny thing is that the picture in the paper make it look like a fairly new pc.I may just need to take a ride and take a look at it.I need to go there anyway to check out cable modems.

I mate of mine bought a job lot of second-hand office furniture for £2000 to use for his business. When he got it back to his office he found there was a crate containing a newish server and a phone exchange - total value £6000.
