i din't realise ovation guitars were old enough 2 b antiques! This one is not about two to three years old.The store is letting a local music store use some of it space.
what's it sound like? Great but strange to here the sound come from both the amp and the guitar.
what r u playing on it?
I have two small practice amps ( An antique Gibson and pevey sold all my big amps a long time ago.

u tune it standard or other? i had a yamaha acoustic and tuned it to daddad coz i was told it was a tuning that steven stills used. anything i played on it just sounded like sonic youth. guess i never really managed to play folk.

I tune it standard.
Most of the stuff I play works with standard tuning and It a pain to switch back and forth for one or two songs.

What I have in my collections
Korg poly six anlog (still working on it)keyboard
Fender rodes electric piano
Roland keyboard
1979 Fender 6 string acoustic
199? Seagull 12 string acoustic
Not sure of MFG yet ovation roundback
19?? Gibson electric
and my first and my favorite
195? National sold body electric white oak body, rose wood neck, peal inlays, two humbucker pick up, all stock. It has a very good range of sound. It can go from very high tone (like a Fender) to very mellow (like a Gibson).I would not let go for any thing.

My 12 string acoustic is still my favorite
To play but when I want to jam I pull out my national. I like the ovation because it the best of both acoustic and electric: cool:
