Summary: Visual Studio Remote Components Setup Remote Components Setup installs the following files. Note Remote debugging setup installs SQL Debugging Components for SQL Server. The remote setup runs automatically when you install Visual Studio .NET, or you can choose to run it separately. For

Category = Developer Resources: MSDN - library

And when i click on the link it gives me this " Remote Components Setup installs the following files.

Note Remote debugging setup installs SQL Debugging Components for SQL Server. The remote setup runs automatically when you install Visual Studio .NET, or you can choose to run it separately. For more information, see SQL Debugging Components."

what does this mean ? and why do i need this remote bugging setup or whatever it is ??

I am running windows 98SE and have downloaded all the patches etc but cant figure out what this error is..i have searched in technet, google everywhere i could think of anyone someone please help as its annoying to keep getting this message.

Invalid Page Fault in Kernel32.dll Errors

If you frequently receive Invalid Page Fault in Kernel32.dll Errors, from different drivers (Explorer, Guide.exe, Msgsrv32, Commgr32, Mprexe and others), it is possible that your password list file is damaged. Try re-creating your password list file:

1. In Windows Explorer select your \Windows folder
2. Press F3. This will bring up the Find: All Files window
3. In the Named: box type *.pwl
4. Click Find Now
5. When a list of found files is displayed, delete them all
6. Close the Find window and restart Windows

Note: you will lose any passwords you have stored, so make sure that you have the passwords written down so you can re-enter them when needed

VS7JIT - the Visual Studio .NET Just In Time something or other.

Change your debugging options: Tools->Internet Options->Advanced from the IE 6.0 menu bar. This should at least prevent you from getting the error.

Do a virus scan.

Check to see if you get this error with Outlook Express when you send and receive e-mail.

There are some .NET updates and service packs on the Microsoft site. Check them out.

Maybe you have discovered a new bug in their product!

Yes the error is more do with VS7JIT and i am not running IE 6 and i have ran an updates yesterday couldnt find anything.

I have tried deleting swap file that didnt solve the problem. This always happens when i am net surfing.

Could it be XP office causing it ? If i uninstall xp office would the error still be there ?

Thank you all for your help.. much appreciated.

harryp, I think it is an undocumented error. You should maybe e-mail or telephone Microsoft support in this case.

Impossible! There are no bugs in Microsoft products.
