Pls assist! Unable to start Netlogon Service On NT 4

| Dear friends,
I have a issue with a Win NT 4.0 member server in my company which is a mixed mode domain of Win2k and NT4 systems. It seems that the NetLogon Service cannot be started.
The error message states:The SAM database on the Win NT server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relation.
I have checked the both the PDC Win2k server and the NT 4.0 member server and both have the above mentioned server in the computers list.
Anyone able to enlighten me on this issue? Thanks in advance.

| try taking the server out of the domain and putting it back again.
other questions to ask
was it working before?
what was changed before it stoppped working?
was server created from an image if so is it possible someone has used same image and taken new one out of domain?

| I've had this problem. I fixed it by removing the server form the domain and the server name from server manager then rejoining the domain. | |
