| booted my win98 machine this morning and got the message
ERROR HIDDEN SECTORS CHECKSUM!
anyone any ideas.
the drivve is only a couple of monthd old

| It sounds like a corrupt hidden sector on the hrd drive, which stores info on the machine.
I think you should be able to just update the info if you can get to a command prompt...

| how many beeps do u here when booting up? better indication of whats wrong if u listen to the beeps. also could be a virus. | |
