When attempting to set up Win 98 SE, I got this bizaare error message: SU0013

This message claimed Win 98 could not be set up. It stated that if I was using HPFS or NTFS I would have to create a DOS boot partition. (I am not, I'm only using plain old FAT16.)If I was using a LANtasic server or SuperStor comperssion. (I'm not using any of these.) to disable them.

Thank You for responding,

Has the machine ever had NTFS on it before? I've run into that many times and had to run the NT4 setup and choose FAT32. Then, I reformat and run the setup for win98SE. Works for me everytime.

Well, I tried booting from the installation floppy disk as opposed to directly from the cd-rom. This actually worked.

Thanks anyway,
