We bought some new PC's and decided to use XP on them, problem is that after running sysprep on them Encarta 2001 starts asking for the CD.

We have installed Encarta locally on the computers HDs by copying the the contents of the CDs to the HD with the included installation program. And the problem doesn't seem to be in the registry.

It would be helpful if you feed us more info on this aspect as such where the software was copied to and if you created a folder that would enable you to map a share drive to it etc. On a Server etc. Cheerio!
