| Howdy all,
Does anyone know the command line for stopping and starting a service on NT? I want to use a .bat file to schedule a service to stop at a specific time in the evening, and then schedule it to restart the next morning.
Right now it's being done manually, or else the backup doesn't work properly. What a pain.  | |

| This is a Linux website, but it will show you the equivalent commands for NT. Using the net stop command isn't only for media. From there you can stop, for example, DNS, DHCP, print spooler, etc.
