| If you think you may have been ripped off by these people, why are you advertising for them?
AS for what you can do, since you ordered by CC, you can contact your CC company and lodge a grievence against the book company.

| I have been a member of the club for years and have always found them easy to deal with and eager to please.

I never use a CC. I order, they bill me, I send a money order. I have returned books with no hassle.
Good Luck. | |

| Currently I am a member and I agree with SuperTech they do seem eager to please. I think they just need to work a little better a following there orders. When I first signed up they sent me to sets of the books I order, but they sent me a return lable the nextweek. But they did seem fairly helpfull and did not hesitate to apoligize for the oversite. Well I hope you get a little better service in the future. | |

| The first order can take 4 weeks, but that's normal.
This is not a ripoff, trust me.

| I had no trouble with my first order.
The problem I had was with them sending me stuff I didn`t ask for.
If I didn`t order something every month they would take it upon themselves to ship me books at random.
I would send them back but once I sent some back and they claimed they never recieved them and kep harrassing me until I sent them some money to shut them up.
I did buy a couple of there books but after getting stuff I didn`t request for a few months and then having to go to the hassle of sending them back I discontinued my membership. I told them repeatedly to stop sending me unsolicited books but they kept it up until I canceled my membership.
They are more hassle than they are worth.
I`m not sure if they still have the "ship without asking policy" but I`d say they do.
I know they advertise here sometimes, but I had to tell my expierience.

| I don't think you have a grasp on how the concept of a book club works.
How does the club work?
You'll receive our free club magazine about every 3 weeks, up to 18 times a year, featuring a Main Selection for the club along with a dated reply card. If you want the Main Selection, do nothing, and it will be sent to you automatically. If you prefer another selection, or no book at all, simply indicate your choice on the dated reply card included in the Announcement and return it by the date specified. You can do it through the mail, or right here, online! A shipping-and-handling charge (and sales tax, where applicable) is added to each shipment.
If, because of late mail delivery of the club magazine, you should receive a book you do not want, simply return it to us free of charge. We guarantee return postage.
They count on people not reading the membership agreement. Record clubs have been operating like this for years.
