| This is pretty kewl.
http://briefcase.yahoo.com/
A few years ago there used to be a ton of these services for free. Now they are all charging money, or have gone out of business. This is one of the last that still remain. I think it is good to back up IE favs, pictures, resumes, or just anything else that is a pain in the a$$ to make over and over and over again. They give you 30 megs for free and you can even share certain folders so friends can access it. It is always nice to have things backed up on something like a cdr, but they can get scratched, stolen, lost, or burnt in a house fire. I also prefer web based email because I never lose my email addys and I am not so prone to having something malicious email itself to my list. I can also check my mail from anywhere in the world with ease. Another pointer that I have just heard is to keep anything that is very valuable in a brown folder placed in your deep freeze. Even in the event of a massive fire, it will be preserved. If anyone else has handy pointers about anything, please post.

| a lot of warez sites used to use those (not that I would know) thats probably why most of em went under
they are good to keep stuff on I could've used it the other day (lost 100 megs of CCNA stuff due to zip disk corruption)

| What they did was limit the size of file you could upload, most had moved it down to 2 megs, the yahoo one is 5 megs. I think warez probably had something to do with it, but there are probably a lot of factors involved and I suspect that lack of financial benefit has gotta be near the top o tha list somewhere. | |

| I have a few information stored in my briefcase here. Everything is going to money charges now, only to last in the web.
Not many advertisements, but the strong shall outlast all the others
