| this is a question that covers both disciplines networking and win200 hopefully there is alot of knowledge in this forum that can help me. I know it may be basic but cannot find it anywhere. OK now for the question.
Have a static mapping through the pix to an internal web server xxxx.xxxx.13.24 mapped to 192.168.110.x running IIS everything is fine until you want to host other web sites with different domain names to the same server. for example give the network card other ip addresses for each web site on the same nic card and then try to use a multi map through the pix (if this is possible) or unassigned ip for each web page and try and use the dns so the hosted web site is brought up instead of the default) well im a tage confused, has anyone got any url or knowledge item that they can email me or point me in the right direction.
Hope this finds its way to a greater knowledge than i, ospf not a problem but microsoft has alot of hidden, well forgot to document this, or the usual one on technet, this is a known problem
thanks forum and catch you all later.
Regards

| This prompts me for another question; Can't you run several diff websites using only one ip address? | |

| i did try to do that same thing. They told me I'll be needing several clients to support my web tasks.
I didn't understand the logic behind it | |

| Yes Bernie you can use just one IP address in IIS an ensure its unallocated for all web sites, how ever this has brought me on to another issue, I want to map each to individual ip addresses so i can map the dns also.
The next thing is creating a domain trust through the isa server between one domain on the inside and one on the outside, any ideas on that Bernie,
Cheers
