I am at work at was connected to the network yesterday with no problems. Today I tried to login and I received the error:

A domain controller for your domain could not be contacted. You have been logged on using cached account information. Changes to your profile since you last logged on may not be available.

I still can ping and access the internet. Can someone please tell me what else can I check.

Go to a command prompt and type: ipconfig /renew
and then press enter.

Then see if you can log onto the domain.

Were you the only one having this trouble?
If not, then the domain controller could be down.
I don't think its your IP address since your getting internet but it could be other ip information.
Do you use DHCP on your network?
