Hi guys,

a 'quiet' day for the first time in 20+ years...

three of our children have left home to live with partners and our oldest girl is going to her boyfriends place for a few days.

So it's just Bobbie and me!

No need for a big turkey (who needs a big bird when I've got the wife?)...

Regards
Peter

1) Wake Up
2) Grab coffee and cigarette
3) Wake up
4) Wait till my folks are awake and have had their coffee and cigarette
5) Hug family, wish happy holidays.
6) Exchange gifts
7) Grab another cup of coffee
8) Do the 5 s's (shower shave shine, sh..umm yeah those)
9) Meet everyone at our cousins house

I have a relatively large family..My mother is one of 11 children, who all have at least 3 children, some of these are already married and have children. My father is one of 6 and all have children as well.

10) Let little cousins and nephews beat me up and talk about Santa.
11) Hug them many many times.
12) Give them their presents
13) Dodge crumpled x-mas paper thrown by the kids
14) retired to the old people table and talk about recent stories from the family
15) Drive home

I'm sure its not a perfect list, but hey, I enjoy spending time with family...I dont usualyl get to spend much time with them when I actually do have the time, so Its a good thing.

by the way, yes, I love coffee...its made from beans..so its a vegetable in my opinion
