I can see the need for National Security but how how far are we willing to let this go? Bush Administration to Propose System for Monitoring Internet

Also why all this attention now? Terrorism is nothing new. Why do we always wait for it to hit us at home until we take any action? Then when we take action we go all out to nearly complete dominance and start policing the world. Telling everybody what to do. Also even if we topple Saddam others will come. Terrisom has no central leader.
The only leader of Terrorism is Hate.

Truth,, Privacy is the key & we shall protest our right.

However, that it is easy to say, but actually is very difficult to do it.

I suggest 4 things:

1.) Vote
2.) Write your Congressperson/Senator and tell them you vote and how you feel.
3.) Use some anonymous surfing tools.
4.) Use encryption - make the NSA guys use a few computing cycles to crack your email!

I know, we could start posting ENCRYPTED messages on bulletin boards to each other and make it look like we're up to no good when in fact all we are doing is posting geeky computer messages - but in the meantime we'll be eating up CPU cycles back at Ft. Meade!

I'm not sure I want to entrust my privacy to something thats "pretty good"

the point is that it takes a freedom away from us. a little here, a little there, and all of a sudden we have zero freedoms and wonder what the hey happened.
