I love the full moon. These days I see the moon setting as I'm driving to work and see the moonrise as I'm coming home. Beautiful.

(lets see how long it takes enforcer, ruscorp, and hooligan to screw up THIS thread!)

Thin film Transistor display, the thinner form of an active matrix display. The transistors allow continous current to be passed to the phospher diodes allowing for a drastically brighter display without turn off ghosting. Before active matrix and then TFT the nastier (on the eyes form) was called a passive matrix display.

now that's strange, a non it related thread has now deviated into being IT related that must be a first, it's usually the other way round.

Other names for them:

Nobby Stiles
Grapes of Wraith
Metric Miles
Farmer Giles
Duke of Argyles
Rockford Files
Arse Grapes

Or more commonly known as PILES...

Chalfonts is Cockney rhyming slang for piles, Chalfont St. Giles is a place in Buckinghamshire.

So Chalfont St. Giles = Piles
