| What was this freak thinking when he dangled his baby out a 7 story building???
(sorry freak, about the similarities in the name.)

| I heard a very funy joke regarding this but I will be banned and sued if I post it on here!

| I caught that on the news the other day. He's being stupid careless with his child, especially being caught up in the event of showing the baby off.
I think most mothers would never even think about pulling a stunt like that with their babies.

| I will probably be flame here... I like to know if any other parts of his body is as white as his face... !?
Back in the 80's when I saw his video, I am pretty sure that he is black, why would any one want to change one's skin color?

| It really creeps me out to think about how weird his children will be with him raising them. Can he possibly be a fit parent? He keeps their faces covered all the time. Eeewww. I can't stand it! | |

| They said he has some skin disorder where it loses it's pigment. I personally think he that he hired doctors to genetically turn him white. Why, I do not know.
I also heard this disorder can cause white splotches anywhere on the body. Kind of like an appaloosa horse. Makes a nice picture for the mind, eh?

| The guy is a bizarre circus all by himself. This dangling child thing should get him committed or at least tossed somewhere for psychiatric treatment. The guy is just f*(ked up! And is it me or was that dangling baby most definitely white! Does the baby have his disease already??? And what is up with that whole peeling nose in court? You'd think he could have afforded a decent paint job with all his bucks | |

| I would first like to say Michael Jackson is totaly screwed up in the head. However, I noticed many of you seem to think that the whole deal about skin pigmentation problem is a bunch of BS. I have a skin pigmentation problem along with a my grandpa and a couple aunts. Mine is just on my arm near my elbows so its not to bad. But just so you know, it does exists and isn't just some BS he made up. | |

| However, IMHO, I continue to believe that Michael Jackson has been "changing himself" into something other than what he was born.
- or -
Or he is living proof that alien abduction is real and he has been replaced with an alien imposter who is unfamiliar with the "normal behavior of humans".

| Yesterday, Michael Jackson was in Belgium, waving down at some reporters who were 7 stories below. They have film of him going inside the room and a minute later carrying a baby holding a towel over the baby's head, then dangled him over the rail for a moment or 2.

ChrisDfer, I was totally insensitive. I'm sorry. I do realize it is a real condition, and not funny in the least. But I was saying that I find it hard to believe MJ has this, that I think it is self-induced.
Anyway, I'm sorry for that. I didn't mean to offend. BUT THAT MICHAEL JACKSON IS SUCH A #%#@$%&@$% FREAK!

yeah. i lived in South Africa for three years. mostly blacks and indians. i would say, thinking back, that it's a very, very common problem amongst the darker-skinned people (although every group can be affected, they are more commonly.) i would say that.. 1 in 100 had some kind of pigmentation defect. both blacks and indians. splotches, as well as total lack of pigmentation altogether. i can vouch that it's not a made-up story at all. it's actually very, very common. they had special blending creams and make-up for it. it's actually quite normal but people like us make it a constant problem for them. i don't see what the big deal is.
peace.

If you stand back and consider it, the way women insist on painting their faces is pretty weird too. You get yourselves specialised paints - mostly pastiche - and apply them daily. In addition you purchase scents that resemble a hallucinated rose bush...
MJ is definitely screwed up about his body image, skin disorder or not - it is mostly because of his fame and an extreme body conciousness at least in part as a result of that limelight IMO. Everyone is obsessed by youth and looks - transient things. Presumably if you're hooked on how you look then it must be more of a bitter pill to swallow to grow old. I think however that MJ had a physical ideal fixed in his mind, strived to achieve it, and obviously failed because that ideal exists only in the imagination and outwardly cannot be surpassed.

Richard, you've got a great way of putting things. i may not agree all the time with what you have to say, but you always say it well. really hit the nail on the head this time.
ps: somewhere i heard that he was trying to look like elizabeth taylor. -- anyone see any similarities? (well, they're both ugly, i guess.) j/k ..

Well I was not even close to being offended. I was just pointing out that it is real and not something made up. However, I always was under the impression that Michael Jackson has the skin problem and it caused some spots on his face to lose pigmintation. So he made his entire face white. Thats just what I heard I don't stand by it at all so I very well could be wrong.
I'm lucky because I live in oregon and the sun maybe shines 2 months out of the entire year so I am white as casper as it is. The spots on my lower arm only show up usally during the summer and they are not in a totaly noticable location.

| I don't remember where my documentation is, but if memory serves me Michael doesn't have a skin condition. He started bleaching his skin many years ago. It goes way back to an argument, or a thought he had about the need for being white, because all of his friends, he felt he was white.
Not too many years ago, he even slept in an oxygen perfected chamber, which was also supposedly germ free. Thus the issue with him wearing things over his mouth and head. Many schitcophrenics do this very same thing. It is a fear of germs. The chamber he sleeps in looks much like a tanning booth or cryonic pod, but has oxygen pumps and all sorts of stuff to make it a so-called "perfect" environment for his sleep.
When he was young, he often hung out with only whites and rarely associated with blacks, or even his family. It was often said that he felt he should not have been born black.
The white skin has been blamed on pigmentosis (not sure of exact technical term), or something, but I am pretty sure it was well documented many years back why he did this, and continues the bleaching process. Look at many of his older pictures, he is just a black youth with no skin conditions and pretty much normal, except for the singing career.
He changed the nose as the very first thing. His nose was very wide and a bit flat as are many young blacks, now it is narrow and very thin. He must have really hated his nose from the first day he felt so against who and what he was.
The only problem is that now he has even gotten whiter and many of his features become somewhat skewed. I don't think he will ever get his face corrected. Next time you see him, notice around his eyes and facial features at how strange he looks now.
He does many strange things that he feels will prolong his life span. Back in his younger days his family was very upset at him over trying to be white, and sort of "disowning" the black race.
This information might be incorrect, but I think it was from several accurate sources. Any rate, he is an interesting individual with a weird mindset. Needless to say, he has never really liked himself very much at all.

| Pretty sad. To those of us looking at the fame and fortune, we would think he'd be extremely satisified with his career/life.
We're never completely satisfied, though, any of us.

he had fame, he had money, he had looks, he had talent, he had it all; he had the world in his hands. everything except one thing; and that's what killed him.

if you or I had hung our babies over the railing, don't you know we'd be trying to visit our children at DHS. they'd slap us with a suit for child endangerment, unfit parents, etc...what do you think will happen to MJ?

Publicity is one thing, but endangering a child's life is something else altogether. Guys like this need to be made to understand how serious this stuff can be. The merest slip could have cause a real tragedy.

I've always felt that in general, people never own up to their responsibilities. Blame is always laid at other people's feet and not their own. Historically, celebrities have always gotten preferential treatment from the judicial system from a light slap on the wrist and pay a fine rather than doing hard time.

| He marches his kids around with veils over their heads. I have been a Michael Jackson fan since he and I were kids. I can now say I officially have had it. I will never buy another one of his albums. I have thus far bought virtually everything he has recorded. I want nothing more to do with that degenerate. | |
