Emmitt Smith reached 16,728 yards, passing the late Walter Payton to become No. 1 on the NFL's all-time list. Congrats!

In other NFL Football news, the Patriots & Raiders are not looking so "Super" anymore. The Pats lost their 4th straight game, and the Raiders lost their 3rd striaght since starting the season 4-0. There were many other great games this weekend, including the Falcons upset of the Saints. But this weekend was all about Emmitt. Congrats again go out to the NFL's #1 All Time Leading RB... 16,743 yards and counting...

And he'll keep on playing and playing as long as the cowboys live in dallas. He is one of the most dedicated players ever to join the NFL

Well that's nothing new...

I really don't care whether the Cowboys win or lose, but a record like this will only be eclipsed once or twice in a generation!

Anyway, you have to applaud the guy. He's been one of the most durable runners the NFL has even seen.

There have been a lot of running backs that have played the game, and what amazes me is that Jim Brown, who only played 9 NFL seasons (1957-1965) when a season only comprised of 12 to 14 games, is still #6 all-time.

But hats off to Emmitt. That's a great accomplishment!

Way to go, Emmitt, thanks for the past 13 years. Oh, yeah, and don't forget to thank Moose for half of those yards

I am not a cowboy fan either, that's for sure! But Emmitt has always been a class act, and you have to respect that sort of longevity and dedication to the craft. now if all them cowboys could be spoken of in the same way, that team would not have had half the headlines they received over the past 10 years

I understand the Cowboys lost even though Emmitt got his record. Not a football fan, but Seattle is my home town. Still congratulations are in order as he is a classy guy.

I'm just shocked that Jim didn't attempt to come out of retirement to prevent Emmitt from passing him as he did with Walter.
