| 1. Keep Mark Augers mailbox. If you delete it, mail sent to that addressed will be bounced back to the sender.
2. For internal addresses (on your Exchange box), go to Mark Augers mailbox properties. On the Delivery tab, there is a space for Alternate Recipients. This will automatically deliver a copy of the message to the selected additional recipient. You select from the Global Address List.
3. If you want to forward to an external address, create a Custome Recipient first (with the external SMTP address). Then add that Custom Recipient to the Alterate Recipient list.

| thx for the help, but I've already tried setting up a dummy account but it aint working
I'm sure there's an Rule you can set in Outlook for forwarding, but I dont want to go down that road, all forwarding is to be sorted by the server if possable

| Hi there
in Exchange server administrator there is something called Global accounts you MUST create such one for each users email to be forwarded too with the email address where too forward . after creating the Global accounts (the are formed as a globus under all recipients) then go to the users NORMAL account and then in the fane called delivery options in here go to alternate recipient then modify now pick the newly created account to forward too.

| Hi all! This is my first post in this forum! I just wanted to say that I totally agree with Mr. Linux Guy's method. I've set this up for many people where I work (myself included). Once you set up the alternate address, you can hide the custom recipiant from your global address list by going to it's "advanced" tab and selecting the proper option.
