Author Repairs for HP Surestore 24x6 DAT drives

Anyone know a company that services the Hewlett Packard Surestore 24x6 DAT external tape drives. Or even a repair manual with a place to get parts. The company I work for no longer has service contracts on these models, and the units are our standard backup solution right now, until the servers get upgraded. So it's like pulling teeth to get them fixed.
