Darn, I've got the not-very-often-used Web Developer hat on today...

Anyone have any good ideas for a quick and dirty web page password to a portion of a site? They have decided that they need to publish their MS Project info on the web, but obviously we don't want the competitors seeing it.

I notice I can upgrade to the premium hosting account with "Web Protect System," but it seems I should be able to get away with a little script instead of coughing up the extra dough.

Does your web site support ASP? I think you could use the global.asa file to direct you to a password page. Or you could just have every page check for a session variable.
