| This may be a silly question, but I wanted to make sure b4 I buy a new computer. Is it possible to change OS from XP to Win 2000? | |

| If you have XP installed - it is impossible to start winnt32.exe (from 2000 installation CD). You'll recieve an error message like "Current version of OS installed is newer ....". It is possible to install 2000 instead of XP(or as a second OS) by booting from 2000 installation CD or floppy only. | |

| You'll have to dual-boot or format and install. XP can't be upgraded to Win 2k as far as i know. |
