I am having trouble to connect a workstation to a laptop using direct cable on Win2000.

I create the link under Network, ..

Can anyone tell me a more detail procedure?

Try using a cross-over cable.

Crossover cable won't help unless both machine have network cards.

What type of connection is it ? Netowrk ? Com Ports ? Parallel ?
